Merdeka Football Festival 1958 - The First Merdeka Football Festival Won By Malaysia.


In 1958, Malaysia known as Malaya and it was the year after it gained independence in 1957. Malaya held the 1st Merdeka Anniversary Football Festival on 31st August 1958 in order to celebrate the first anniversary of its independence. This was the year that Malaya gained its first victory as a champion in the Merdeka Football Festival. Under the leadership of a legendary coach, Choo Seng Quee, Malaya team lead by Chan Tuck Choy won this tournament by beating the Hong Kong team. Malaya players consist of Lim Ah Lek, Boey Chong Lian, Zainal Abidin, Kwong Chong Yin, Woo Ah Wah, Choo Seng Quee, Yusof Bakar, M.Joseph, E.C. Dutton, Koay Ban Chuan, Wong Yuen Ching, Ahmad Nazari, Jalil Che Din, Rahim Omar, Chan Tuck Choy, Abdul Ghani Minhat, Lourdes, M.Govindasamy, Lim Kee Siong, Mok Wai Hong, Wong Kim Seng, Robert Choe and Ng Boon Bee. Participant countries for the 1st Merdeka Anniversary Football Festival consist of Malaya, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Vietnam and Indonesia. Choo Seng Quee was a legendary coach and very well known in Malaysia and Singapore. Tunku Abdul Rahman as a President of Football Association Malaya/Malaysia put a great belief on him to bring Malaya/Malaysia team to its peak and he managed to do that with a great pride. One of the ex-player namely Koay Ban Chuan said that the Malaya 1958 team was the best team Malaysia has ever had.

Selangor 2015 Kappa Home Malaysia Cup 2015 Player Issue Jersey

In 2015, Selangor was sponsored by Kappa and in this year, it was a glorious year for Selangor when they won the Malaysia Cup 2015 winner title. This is a Selangor Malaysia Cup 2015 home player issue jersey which is similar like what being used by Selangor team in Malaysia Cup 2015. Below are the details:-

Pahang 2013 Stobi Player Issue Home Jersey

In 2013, Pahang was sponsored by one of the rarest brand known as Stobi, a company based in Australia. Furthermore, in 2013, Pahang won the Malaysia Cup by wearing this precious Stobi jersey. This "Stobi horse" brought good luck to Pahang team and one of the rarest Pahang jersey although it was not a vintage jersey. Its a gem to collector.
