The History Of Football Association Of Selangor Administration Building

Since the beginning of the establishment of the Football Association of Selangor (FAS), FAS already have a building that was used to govern all matters related to the FAS. However, the source of history of the administration building used by the FAS was very limited and can only be traced back from 1960s. In the 1960s, FAS administration building was located in Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur. Below was an official photo of the FAS officials at the FAS House located at Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur in 1963 : -

The FAS officials group photo was taken in front of the FAS, located at Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur in 1963. Spotted there was Datuk Harun Idris, the Selangor team manager and in front of him was a Malaya Cup that was won by Selangor in 1963.

Then on 24 June 1973, His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj at that time was HRH Raja Muda Selangor inaugurated the new FAS administration building located at Jalan Maharajalela, Kuala Lumpur. The building was named as Wisma FAS.

After that, the FAS administration building once again moved to a new building at Wisma FAS, Kelana Jaya, Selangor in the 1990s.

After several years of FAS administration building was based on Wisma FAS, Kelana Jaya, Selangor, there was a plan to build a new larger FAS administration building with a sports complex and two soccer fields namely FAS Sports Complex located at Section U15 , Shah Alam, Selangor. The construction of this FAS Sports Complex has completed but not yet ready to be occupied.
