IXth World Youth Championship 1997 genuine and rarest collections

     In 1997, Malaysia became the host country for the IXth World Youth Championship 1997. It was held from 16th June 1997 until 5th July 1997. Malaysia has successfully hosting this tournament. It involved 6 stadiums in 6 cities for the venues of this championship. They are:-

     Argentina and Uruguay reached the final. However, Argentina won the final game with the scores 2-1 against Uruguay. This was the third title won by the Argentina for this World Youth Championship. Golden ball award won by Nicolas Olivera (Uruguay). Golden shoe award won by Adailton (Brazil). Fair play award won by Argentina.
