In the final match of FAM Cup 1982, Sultan Sulaiman Club and MARA Fc were destinied to meet each other. Both were strong teams. It was a great battle from both teams to win the championship title of FAM Cup 1982 and lift the FAM Cup trophy. Unfortunately, MARA Fc lost to Sultan Sulaiman Club with the scores of 2-0 after a long great battle. The two scores of Sultan Sulaiman Club came from Azlan Johar and Zapril Hashim. It was a great moment for Sultan Sulaiman Club to win this FAM Cup 1982 under the coaching of Abdul Ghani Minhat.
